Wonderful driving rhythms ooze from this high energy Brazilian group. Tambolele have toured Brazil, Italy, Spain, Columbia, and the US, and now bring their stunning performance to Queenstown.

They were formed eleven years ago, in the heart of Brazil, and their music and strong vibrant rhythms are inspired by the black heritage of Brazilian cultural roots. They have released three albums and played with some major names of Brazilian Music.

Tambolele plays a huge variety of instruments but they may also transform ordinary items like plates, coffee mugs, or a newspaper, into musical instruments.
