The senior section of the ASB Queenstown JazzFest "Jump Start" Jazz Competition, 

Choose your favourites and see if your choices match that of our panel of professional judges in deciding the best of the finalists in our Emerging Talent Competition, brought to you by Nzone.

This year the ASB Queenstown JazzFest has opened up a new category in its competition series, the 18-25 age group.

Finalists have been screened from a pool of nationwide entrants. Years of dedication and practice culminate in the performances of the contestants in two arenas -- solo vocal and solo instrumental.

Also performing will be the winners of the AJ Hackett Bungy Youth Competition for the 12-17 age group, and the winner of the 2008 Jumpstart band section, The Sam Blakelock Band.
