The Efficient Five

Since inception in 2007, The Efficient Five has been developing a sound that is a culmination of a wide variety of influences. Elements of Jazz, Dub, Classical, and sounds of Aotearoa all come together in a style that is both unique and very personable.

With the development of an all-original set in early 2009 came a new drive to get the music out there for everyone to hear. Playing up-tempo sets in Bars, Textures in private functions, and thriving in the most intimate of venues, the group has evolved into a warm, well-rounded, five sided unit.

The Efficient Five is in the final stages of producing their first all-original album "Initialising..." Due for release in October '09
