Tahuna Breaks

Dubbed one of the most promising acts to break into the New Zealand music scene in recent years, the unique combination of Tahuna Breaks’ funk-fuelled grooves, reggae and just a hint of drum’n’bass has made them a favourite on dance floors nationwide. 

Their popularity has seen them share the stage with top Kiwi bands such as Fat Freddy’s Drop, Concord Dawn, Tiki Live, Katchafire, Cornerstone Roots, WBC, Sola Rosa and Unity Pacific, as well as appearing on Top of the Pops, Coast and Juice TV Music Awards.

With countless tours under their belt, including several sell out shows around New Zealand and international commitments in Australia, the Auckland-based band is rapidly gaining recognition and praise.

Their second album Black, Brown & White is due to be released on 31 August 2009.
