Linn Wikman

Swedish born jazz vocalist Linn Wikman brings Nordic cool to classics performed in her own individualistic style. Growing up in a musical family singing was a major part of her life from an early age. Linn traded the northern lights of Scandinavia for the beaches of Sydney to study voice and performance at the Australian Institute of Music where she graduated with honours. Linn seeks out the heart of each tune and blends a wide range of influences into her musical interpretations.

She has performed at many of the great past and present jazz venues of Sydney including the Basement, Soup Plus, and the Sydney Opera House. Wikman has been performing with her own bands since 2006 and is continuing to explore the musical pallet with some of the most incredible musicians around including fellow Swede Martin Marklund.
