Josephine Costain

Auckland based singer songwriter Josephine Costain's music is passionate and beautiful; like Joni Mitchell meets PJ Harvey. In March, Josephine toured NZ, road testing new songs and sharing her unique sound in intimate settings with her acoustic guitars, loop pedal and an assortment of percussion. Recently returned from an inspirational tour of the USA, where she studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music and toured America; capturing hearts in New York, San Francisco and Nashville, she sites the trip as inspiration for the direction of her new material.
