Queenstown's own Jessie Coutts will be performing an eclectic acoustic set accompanied by guitarist Mathurin Molgat which mixes reworked jazz standards and some treasures found along the way.

Jessie was born into music and has sung and played guitar all of her life.  She toured America with Queenstown band Three of a Tribe, recorded at Sun Studios in Memphis Tennessee, held a residency at the Venice Bistro in Los Angeles and has featured on television many times.  Her voice is hauntingly beautiful and her songwriting is full of imagery and delicate meanderings.

Jessie was featured at the APRA Silver Scroll Awards and was showcase artist at the prestigious NXNE Music Festival in Toronto, Canada.

Her voice can be heard on numerous albums and radio jingles, television shows and sound tracks. It is unmistakable and unforgettable.

Jessie's Canadian-based band Beach has released three albums to international acclaim.  Their cool summer grooves and beats have a melodic, distinctively New Zealand flavour.
