It is a great coup for the festival to present one of
the best and most in demand jazz trios in the world, the Neil Cowley Trio. Following the success
of their debut album Displaced which won the
Best Album at the 2007 BBC Jazz Awards the band is
at the forefront of the new contemporary sound of
the jazz piano trio.

The trio comes to Queenstown following recent performances
at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Montreal
Jazz Festival and a slot on the Jules Holland show
following the release of their follow-up album Loud…
Louder…Stop! Now they can boast that they have
played Queenstown!
