After a stunning performance in 2008, the ASB Queenstown JazzFest has asked for more.

The festival welcomes the return of saxophonist Lewis McCallum, one of New Zealand's most exciting and innovative producers.

His original music draws from a jazz background but now combines many elements to fully explore his love of beats. Together with revered vocalist Cherie Matheson, and a band oozing quality musicianship, as in 2008, this will be a night difficult to forget.

Saxophonist Lewis McCallum is one of New Zealand’s most exciting and innovative musicians.  He fuses his deep knowledge of jazz with the modern forms drawn from the dance and beats culture and the result is a truly unique sound.
