Humlai

Inspired by the discovery of vintage funk, HUMLAI was formed at the beginning of this year by lead singer, Amy Jansen. An 8 piece funk and groove band, complete with a 3 piece horn section, a solid rhythm section and some incredible vocals, HUMLAI is dedicated to playing music that demands you dance.

All the members are current students or graduates of the CPIT Jazz School and bring their love of music to every performance. The bands musical influences range from Classic and Gypsy Jazz, to Fusion, and of course, good old fashioned Funk.

They are hoping to take their own original material further so keep your ears open for this incredibly talented, up and coming group!
