The first day of the festival will be a huge celebration of the plethura of our 2015 genres, musicans and venues!

The day unfolds with an exciting afternoon on the Village Green community stage in central Queenstown providing a snapshot of some of the Festival's fantastic musicians. As the day turns into evening, the gig programme kicks in, with bars, restaurants, hotels and caberet performances - dont miss out on the headline act, David Friesen, considered to be one of the most prolific and influential jazz bassists of the past four decades! David's concert begins at 8.30pm in Queenstown's Memorial Centre. 

The Community and Gig Programme events are all free to attend, so get involved and prepare to be thoroughly entertained.
