Rob Craige started percussion, violin and piano as a child and later in High school Robert played percussion professionally for many operatic shows in Mosgiel and Dunedin as well as being a member of both the National Youth Brass Band and National Youth Orchestra for three years respectively.

Rob continues to lead a busy musical life tutoring keyboard and percussion privately and at Otago University. He currently plays for many musical groups including Southern Sinfonia (Principal Percussionist), Brass Bands, Theatre groups, subject2change and Jazz trio “Coleman, Cornish and Craigie".
