Formed in 1994, Richardson Jazz operates as a duo, trio, quartet, or quintet, with jazz musicians from Alexandra and Queenstown.

Now well established in Central Otago and Lakes District, the band also travels throughout Otago and Southland.  Their music is basically swing and latin jazz standards, with some more recent popular numbers.
 
The Earnslaw Jazz Cruise performance comprises: Les Richardson (piano), Robin Whiting (sax), Pat Monaghan (double bass), Peter Doyle (drums) and featuring vocalist Andrea Cruickshank Pearson.
