Michal Martyniuk

Pianist

Michal Martyniuk is 27 years old, originally from Poland. He is a professional pianist/keyboard player and began his career as a classical pianist for 10 years before discovering his passion for Jazz. Michal graduated from the University Of Auckland with a degree in Jazz Performance. Since arriving in New Zealand, he has performed and toured with musicians such as Nathan Haines, Lewis McCallum, Tama Waipara, Kevin Mark Trail, Sharlene Hector, Miguel Fuentes, Maicey Rika, Kevin Haines, Ron Samson, Oliver Holland, Roger Manins, Dixon Nancey, Indira Moala, Batucada Sound Machine to name a few. He has performed with many groups and has been apart of various projects internationally. These all range from Jazz, R&B, Blues and Gospel.

Currently living now in Auckland Michal performs regularly on the jazz circuit both solo and with bands.
