Born in Christchurch, James Sherlock is considered one of Australia’s most captivating and exciting guitarists. He has toured across Australia and internationally and personal career highlights include performing with the MSO, guitar virtuoso Martin Taylor, Katie Noonan, Sheila Jordan, Kristin Berardi and a long list of Australia’s finest.

James won the prestigious ‘Ike Isaacs International Jazz Guitar Award” and was nominated for the Freedman Fellowship. Much in demand as a band leader and sideman, James can be heard on Hetty Kate's NZ release ‘Dim All The Lights’.
